In Brazil, the word “Bis” means “once more”, which is the usual reaction of someone eating a Bis bar: eat another one. With the concept of “Disguise your Bis”, both campaign and website play with the act of hiding your chocolate from other people who may want to steal them from you.

Móoca em Monóculos

MonoculosThe objective of the project was to create a narrative of the city from a tourist perspective. I decided to photograph a neighbourhood i did not know then, called “Móoca”, which is an old district first occupied by italian immigrants, and which still keeps the same old atmosphere.

To match the narrative theme, the chosen format to exhibit the pictures was an old object called “monóculos” (in portuguese), just like the image in the left.

From March 2010 to February 2011, I worked at UOL, the leading news portal in Brazil, as a designer for mobile content, including web pages and iPhone/iPad applications. Previously, I worked at OgilvyOne's office in Sao Paulo as an Art Director for both websites and online campaigns. Clients I have had the pleasure of working with over the past few years include: Kraft Foods, Kimberly-Clark, and Unilever (Dove and Hellmann's brands).

I have been working with online projects for nearly 10 years. During this time, I have developed a wide but detailed perspective of the process of creating and developing online interfaces, from conceptualization and information architecture to motion design and programming. I have worked with Adobe Flash for the motion design components of several projects; I have found this experience to be very helpful in the initial phases of a project, where preparation and communication with other programmers and designers are key.

I am inspired by music, movies, internet and literature. I love to travel and share life with good friends.
